About Stormcloud Mountains


Stormcloud Mountains is the second terrain in Kingdom Rush Battles, containing Arenas 4, 5, and 6.

This region introduces faster enemies and health regeneration challenges. Build a deck that can handle fliers and burst down Trolls before they heal.

  • Frostbite: Freezes enemy units and slows attack speed.




Best Heroes for Stormcloud Mountains

  • Elora: Great against flying units. Move her often to slow enemies and deal extra hits.

  • Diedre: Supports your army + tower buffs + ranged damage. Position near Barracks and flyer paths.

  • Ignavar: Hybrid bruiser who blocks and defeats high-HP enemies under tower fire.


Best Towers

  • Barbarians: Hit fliers + excellent lane control.

  • Musketeers: Long-range burst. Max one before placing another.

  • Glacial Druid (Artillery): Magic AoE + summons Giants + freezes towers. Spam to pressure opponent.

  • Sorcerer Mage: Summons Elementals + curses enemies. Spread them out for max curse coverage.




Best Spells

  • Icy Ground: Stalls enemies and buys time — very strong vs bosses.

  • Thunderbolt: High burst damage to counter Troll regen.

  • Rain of Fire: Great combo with Thunderbolt for huge AoE wipeouts.


 

Defeating the Arena Bosses

  • Ulguk-Hai: High armor + regeneration. Use magic towers and reinforcements to prevent escapes.

  • J.T.: Can freeze towers. Use slows and timing: when he slams the ground and tires, unleash all the damage you can!




Recommended Deck Strategy

Focus on anti-air coverage and fast enemy removal:

  • Hero: Elora or Diedre (Ignavar if you want tanking)

  • Towers: Barbarians + Musketeers + Glacial Druid + Sorcerer Mage

  • Spells: Icy Ground + Thunderbolt + Rain of Fire

  • Boosters: Blizzard + Frostbite when possible

 Pro Tip: Never let Trolls walk freely for too long — shut down their regeneration fast!
