Causes

  • The files are corrupted.
  • The system has no OpenGL drivers installed



Solutions

  • See OpenGL drivers troubleshooting
  • Make sure the files are properly downloaded and installed.
    • On Steam you can go to the game properties (right-click) and in the LOCAL FILES tab click on VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES.
