Causes


There is an incompatibility between macOS catalina Retina Dislplay setting and the Steam overlay



Workaround:


  • Disable the Steam overlay for this game:
  • Right click in the game, select Properties...
  • In the General tab uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game"
  • Close the properies
  • Launch the game
